In the multiplier event of our Erasmus+ Project “Social Inclusion of Refugee Youth Throught Social Entrepreneurship”, valuable names from each other were guests. Immigration Administration, General Manager of Compliance and Communication Dr. Gökçe Ok was among the guests. Expressing his thoughts about the event, Ok; He expressed the importance of the project with the following words:
Gokce OK:
“There is a balance mechanism in the universe called ‘entropy’. That’s how everyone spreads to one side in such a way that it expands from one place from the center. Right now, for example, we had a cem in this hall, we are trying to bring an end to a good job we have done. But everyone who came to this podium expressed; this is how it will expand, it will disperse like this, leaving this hall, and spread out just as we go into Urfa or to different parts of the country. The outputs we get from here are not the end. It will diversify, grow and expand. We want it to be a beach for years. “
He talked about the importance of being together and producing something with his words. In his speech, Ok also expressed the importance of ecological name badges produced by the Knitting For Hope project team:
“I am trying to follow the projects that are developing in my own general directorate and the head of the immigration administration. I gave strict instructions to my friends. Maybe you do a lot of meetings, events and wear plastic badges. It is both more costly and not suitable for ecological reason and morality. There is no recycling logic in plastic works. Wear an ecological badge instead. In fact, NGOs and the Directorate of Migration Management had a project called “Social Entrepreneurship” in Istanbul and Ankara. I think they bought a large amount of ecological badges produced by this project. So people are hesitating, should I wear this around my neck? should I not wear? will it be in color? Isn’t it? like. This is labor. So that’s handcraft. So he accepts to wear a plastic badge, so I know a little about this environmental education. Because my PhD was on environmental education. You’re wearing a plastic badge, you’re wearing that plastic water bottle. But there is a labor in these ecological name badges. And much more natural and healthy.
Expressing the importance of the ecological name badges produced by the Knitting For Hope project team, Ok ended his speech by thanking the relevant institutions and organizations.
“First of all, in the person of my secretary general, our esteemed rector, our Technocity, our dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, our Sociology department, our Harran University Migration Policy Application and Research Center, all our friends in the Migration Management, our migration experts involved in this project, our company in Izmir, which guided us in this project, On behalf of humanity, I would like to thank all intellectuals and laborers, including our Non-Governmental Organization in Greece and the University of Messina. There is humanity here!”
He thanked the places related to his words and left the podium.
