Social Cohesion and Entrepreneurship Association (SUGDER), which was established in 2022 with the aim of contributing to social cohesion and entrepreneurship, is one of the biggest and sustainable outputs of the “SOCIAL INCLUSION OF REFUGEE YOUTH THROUGH SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP” project, and draws its strength from the energy of young people and women. Although this association is new with its volunteers of different nationalities, it works actively in many fields.
Now the word was in the youth. They talked about what has changed in their lives with the project, what they have achieved and the social initiatives they have established. Thus, the emergence of many sustainable initiatives with the project was appreciated.
Social Cohesion and Entrepreneurship Association (SUGDER) volunteers and co-founders Zeynep KARAKURT, Eva DAVOD and İsmail KIRMIZI took the stage to share their feelings and thoughts.
Zeynep KARAKURT:
We officially established our association in January 2022. We carry out activities with young volunteers in the association. Before we officially established our association, we were active as a youth group and were doing projects. These projects were Erasmus+ projects, national projects and volunteer activities. One of the biggest goals of our association is to reach more women and young individuals, and we continue to work with the volunteer team and the board team in this direction.
Eva DAVOD:
Thanks to Hakan GÜLERCE, I had the opportunity to take part in many programs and projects, and this opportunity allowed me to gain a lot of knowledge and experience. In line with the knowledge and experience we gained, we thought about the idea of establishing an association with friends and started to take steps in this field. As a result of the steps we have taken, we have established the Social Cohesion and Entrepreneurship Association. I am very happy and proud for this.
Ismail RED:
Social Cohesion and Entrepreneurship Association (SUGDER) is one of the biggest and sustainable outputs of the “SOCIAL INCLUSION OF REFUGEE YOUTH THROUGH SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP” project. Today, the European Union community attaches great importance to sustainability. We established the Social Cohesion and Entrepreneurship Association in order to create a sustainable output and reach more people. We thought about how we can create a collective consciousness in order to increase social cohesion and spread this awareness more. We took the first step by thinking about how we can support or guide entrepreneurs. We aimed to create a multidisciplinary environment and in this direction, we came together with people from different branches. I hope we will be in front of you with much better works. Thank you.
