Project coordinator Dr. Faculty Member Hakan Güler made an introductory presentation on the content of the project, its goals and how far these goals have been achieved. The sustainable outputs of the project attracted particular attention.
Hakan GULERCE:
In order to create social entrepreneurship awareness and increase social cohesion, experiential learning methods were used in the project and trainings were given. By conducting awareness studies and activities, young participants were guided to social entrepreneurship and their participation in social life was ensured. We aimed to enable young participants to establish their own companies, to reduce the dependency of local and immigrant individuals on foreign sources and to produce something themselves. The project doesn’t actually end there, it’s a multiplier activity. The main project is starting now, and it will continue with the projects that the participants will produce and the social enterprises they will establish in the next processes. We will be able to carry out various activities for 5 years by using the name “SOCIAL INCLUSION OF REFUGEE YOUTH THROUGH SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP” for 5 years.
